The OCTOVOICE Vocal Ensemble was founded in 1998. The majority of the members are vocational singers and working on their musical career. In the course of their studies with different choirs they traveled all over the world from the United States to Greece , from Holland to Italy . After the ensemble was founded they started performing classic choral pieces of different ages giving concerts throughout Hungary with huge success. After two years the OCTOVOICE Vocal Ensemble started singing a cappella jazz. Presenting their new repertoire (from the classic swing of the 30’s to the present modern trends) the ensemble gave concerts at several places and at the opening ceremony of the Millennial Park of Budapest they had such a tremendous success that subsequently they were invited to France to give concerts in the MAGYart event series as the ambassadors of Hungarian culture. Several times they were guest performers at concerts such as the Jazz-Gospel Evening in the Pesti Vigadó or the Péter Gerendás show at the Budai Parkszínpad in Budapest , as well as at the joint event of BBC and the Hungarian Radio.

The concerts of the OCTOVOICE Vocal Ensemble are characterized by professionalism, leisure and joy presenting the special experience the human voice is able to give. Their first album Christmas Time was published in 2005 and in the year 2007 they released their second CD entitled Jazz A Capella.
